Coal AgeMining Media

In an exciting step, Palamedia Ltd and Colorado-based Mining Media Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 3 2008. Palamedia will now act as the exclusive Australian media agent for a one-off, special supplement entitled ‘Best of Australian Coal Mining 2008’. ‘Best of Australian Coal Mining’ will be produced in English and Chinese versions and will be distributed alongside specific issues of Coal Age to relevant markets in North America and China. The supplement will play a leading role in showcasing Australia’s resources industries, as coal is recognised as Australia’s largest commodity export and a vital national resource.

 

Australia India Business Council

The Australian India Business Council was formed in 1986 following the mutual recognition of enormous trade potential between two countries by the prime ministers of the two countries at the time, Mr Robert Hawke of Australia and Mr Rajiv Gandhi of India.

In December 2007 Palamedia published the official inaugural annual bilateral trade publication for the AIBC – Australia India Business.

Palamedia is proud to be a supporter of the AIBC in the following ways:

  •  The first NSW state sponsor;
  • Supported the Accor Qantas Annual address in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra ; and 
  • Naming rights partner for the NSW AIBC annual  end of year gala event on December 4th.
  •  Palamedia Managing Director David Collett is an Elected Member of the Management Committee of Australia India Business Council NSW Chapter.

 

Australia China Business CouncilAustralia China Business Council


The Australia China Business Council is an organisation dedicated to promoting business & trade between the two countries, highlighting the growing importance being attached to the economic aspect of Australia's overall relationship with the People's Republic of China.

Palamedia works closely with the ACBC to produce China Australia Business. In addition, Palmedia was a supporter of the 2007 China Oration, featuring His Excellency  Major General Michael Jeffery, Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia.

In 2008 Palamedia became a national supporter of the ACBC. 


Australian American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham)

The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia (AmCham) is Australia's largest international chamber of commerce and premier international business organisation. The objectives of the chamber are:

  • To promote the two way flow of trade and investment, primarily between the US and Australia; and
  • to help forge business links with other countries.  

Palamedia are proud to be the official publishers of the American Australian Business - an official annual trade publication produced with the American Chambers of Commerce.

David Collett - Palamedia's Managing Director has recently been given the honour of being a council of Governor for AmCham for NSW.

 

Australian Research CouncilThe Australian Research Council

The Australian Research Council (ARC) is a statutory authority within the Australian Government's Innovation, Industry, Science and Research portfolio. Its mission, to advance Australia's research excellence to be globally competitive and deliver benefits to the community, is achieved through providing advice to the Government on research matters and managing the National Competitive Grants Program.

The ARC and Palamedia are collaborating on a publication to be launched in June 2008 to raise awareness of outstanding ARC-funded research achievements, with a particular focus on the applications, uses and wider benefits of research. 

 

 

Australian Institute of Export

The Australian Institute is a not for profit membership organisation providing practical education and training, a wide range of exporter services including Austrade's TradeStart, a conduit between industry and government and informative networking and recognition events. Palamedia are proud to have the support of AIEX as a media partner. The AIEX play an essential role in providing content for the trade publications to educate business and individuals on the barriers to market and assist in national distribution.

Palamedia are proud sponsors of  ALIES - Australia's Leaders in Export Series being conducted as a road show nationally next year.

 

Australian Innovation Festival


Australian Innovation is the leading platform for up-to-date information on Australian and Entrepreneurship.

This is achieved through the Australian Innovation Festival. The Festival was established in 2002 by Adair Innovation to support and promote the best of Australian Innovation and entrepreneurship. Principal partners in the past have included Deloitte, IP Australia, Department of Industry Tourism and Resources, State governments. Palamedia will produce the official publication for the festival in 2008, and are a principal partner.

Palamedia are also a series partner for 2007-8 for Leaser of Innovation Series. This is a national platform to present Australian and international leaders of innovation and entrepreneurship. Other partners include Australia, Business Council of Australia and Deloitte.

 

European Australian Business Council

The European Australian Business Council Limited (EABC) is a national body established to promote business interests between Australia and the Member States of the European Union. In addition to the publication of European Asia Pacific Business, Palamedia are members of the EABC's Corporate Partnerships program.
